The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn is teaming up with Ivy League Kids to offer full-day programming for children of essential workers. Children in grades K-8 will have a safe place to stay during the day while their parents are working. The program runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Space is limited.

Students in full or hybrid remote learning on days when their parents are working can participate in a range of activities, including e-learning assistance, sports and recreational activities, STEM education, along with arts and crafts, at the museum, 5100 Museum Drive, Oak Lawn.

“Our goal is to serve children of essential workers,” said Christina Knabjian, marketing director for Ivy League Kids. “We’re targeting parents who can’t work from home.”
