Before and After School Educator
The Ivy League Before & After School Program is hiring Site Directors. These are leadership roles that will be in charge of a classroom (or multiple classrooms). For a list of our locations, visit https://ivyleaguekids.org/ivy-league-locations/.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Must love kids, and young people, with a strong sense of duty to help them become awesome individuals with respect for themselves and others.
- Must be willing to administer consistent discipline. Flexible, willing to jump in and do anything that needs to be done. Patient, giving each child a fresh start each day.
- Must be reliable, always on time for your shift, prepared to work immediately upon punching in.
- Creativity is a must, finding new craft ideas that are within budget and fun for the kids to do.
- Must have positive attitude that becomes contagious.
- Willing to follow all company policies and enforce them for all staff. Instruct and train staff on relating to and guiding and keep safe all children in our care.
- Communicating with office staff and gym staff regarding problems or changes.
- Planning activities for every day before and after school.
- Generating excitement over crafts and up-coming events and field trips.
- Communicating expectations to every child in a way they can understand.
- Ordering supplies — food, snack and cleaning as well as craft supplies.
- Oral and written reports regarding incidents requiring documentation, injury during a game, problem between two children, etc.
- Overseeing and when necessary cleaning activity areas we use. This includes training staff on the proper way to clean tables.
- Willing to work half day and day off programs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must attend monthly meetings in Mokena in the morning or evening.

District Manager
Ivy League Kids is growing and looking for a highly motivated individual who can positively contribute to our team. Our mission is to provide quality programming that focuses on fitness recreation and academic enrichment in a healthy, safe environment for all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Mission Summary: Motivate and create unity in districts you serve. Give clear leadership. Build a relationship with team that creates loyalty and inspires passion. Fiscally responsible with budgets. Give clear reports and updates to leadership.
Each week will be a busy, organized week focused on creating a group of fun, safe, uniform sites that are well staffed with high level customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
· Strong classroom management skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive discipline
· College coursework or degree in childhood education, elementary education, or a related field
- Staffing of all programs including, training, orientation, evaluation, scheduling and supervision of a quality staff team.
- Must be creative, possess good communication skills (oral/written), and exercise good judgment.
- Must love working with children and be able to develop positive relationships with parents, staff, co-workers, and community organizations.

Tasks To Complete:
Staff: Hiring, Training, Scheduling, Check-ins, C.P.R., Weekly communication with site directors, Background Checks, Exit Interviews, Time Off Request, Employee Communication and Disciplinary action.
A.D.M.: Weekly Planning & Daily communication with A.D.M., Job training and ongoing training
Families: Student Evaluations and Action plans, Individual parent issues and communication
Sites: Daily site visits, Site evaluations and Progress reports, Principal interactions, Site uniformity, Special Order approval
Administrative: Weekly payroll budget report, Commissary budget, Staffing Ratios, Monthly meeting planning and food ordering, Parents Night Out planning, Enrollment Numbers
Events: Chamber and Community Events, School Registration Nights, Outdoor Table/Tent Events a.k.a. “Table Days”
Held Accountable For: Budgets, Customer Communication/Satisfaction, Meeting attendance, Limiting A.D.M and D.M. fill in days at sites Provide leadership for the daily operations of the center’s programs. Specific duties include maintaining the budget; managing enrollment; and ensuring parent satisfaction. Works with HR administration of staff including hiring, supervising, motivating, training and evaluating performance.

Van Driver & Site Aid
Hiring in Mokena & Flossmoor! Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Pick up and drop off at school or Rec Center
- Transport children to field trip destination
- Ensure all bus passengers are safely seated and strapped in
- Observe speed limits and obey road signs
- Help children get on and off the bus safely
- Explain safety procedures to children and aids
- Perform simple vehicle maintenance, such as filling gas tank cleaning exterior and interior, taking vehicle for oil changes or state inspections, etc.)
- Prepare trip reports consisting of mileage and gas receipts
Hours:
Full and Part-time available, morning/afternoon hours. Must be available Monday thru Friday.

After School STEM Instructor
The Ivy League Before & After School Program is looking for a STEM Educator for our students K-6. Weekly projects would include working with the Program Director to establish weekly curriculum for students, managing projects inside Mobile Stem Lab and teaching kids STEM (while making it FUN!). Examples would be Hue Animation, Legos, K’nex, 3D Printing, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be over 18 and working toward or hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree or related field
- Must have reliable transportation
- Prior experience working with children is a real plus
- Background check is required (at our expense) the results of which may affect employment.
This position would be approximately 20-30 hours a week.
