When school is out for holidays, teacher workdays or other breaks, Ivy League Kids still provides a fun and enriching environment for kids in Kindergarten through eighth grade to go. Even when school is closed, your child will have a supportive adult helping them with homework. We keep your child safe, happy and entertained while their school is closed.
Ivy League Kids is currently operating as allowed by the Restore Illinois plan. We are an essential service for those who need child care during the pandemic. Utilizing a rotating station setup, we are able to accommodate children, keep them safe, and keep our facilities sanitary. Please check back for more information regarding day-off programming in August and to see which locations we will open.
Snacks and breakfast (before 8 a.m.) are provided, but students must bring their own lunch. The only days Day-Off Programming will not be provided is Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Field trips (optional): $10/trip
What Does Day-Off Programming Provide?
We value the academic success of all our students. Our staff provides help with e-learning assignments and mentoring to ensure students understand their tasks. Just because school is closed doesn’t mean learning can’t happen!
Arts and Crafts
Students make a variety of arts and crafts as an outlet to be creative and have fun. Site directors and aids encourage each child to express their own imagination doing a variety of different types of crafts.
Sports and Recreation
Children will get their 60 minutes of play during their day off at Ivy League Kids. We play dodgeball, tag, and more to encourage teamwork and fair play while teaching kids valuable lessons in cooperation and respect for others.
