The Mokena-based nonprofit is scrambling this year to find new homes for programming that includes arts and crafts, homework help and physical fitness as many area school districts have put off plans for some in-person teaching.

Founded more than 20 years ago, Ivy League started with a dozen children, and last year had more than 2,000 enrolled, from prekindergarten through eighth grade, according to Christina Knabjian, marketing director.
