Be Yourself
Camp is one of the places where you can truly be yourself. During camp, you might discover new talents, try new things, play new sports, meet new friends and so much more. At Ivy League’s Summer Camp, there are many different sports, activities & clubs at your disposal so each child can make their camp experience their own. That’s why it’s the perfect place for your child to tap into an interest that he or she wants to carry on after camp is over. Did your daughter love horse camp? Perhaps she’s a budding equestrian who would enjoy regular lessons.
Attune to Nature
Camp is a great time to unplug from electronics and re-connect with nature. Today, kids spend less time outdoors, but camp encourages kids to get outside and explore their surroundings.
When kids take a break from TV, cell phones, and the Internet, they rediscover their creative powers and engage the real world. Outdoor experience enriches kid’s perception of the world and supports healthy child development.
Health & Fitness
An active lifestyle is a healthy lifestyle. Staying active in the summer months is important to your child’s overall wellbeing. As children spend so much time these days inside and mostly sitting down, camp provides a wonderful opportunity to move – running, swimming, jumping, hiking, climbing!
Build Character & Develop Life Skills
Ivy League’s program uses four fundamental values as a template to cultivate and nurture the mental health of youth enrolled. These values consist of respect, caring, responsibility and honesty. While schools do a great job of teaching core curriculum, camp teaches kids grit, perseverance and leadership.
Make Lasting Friendships
Making friends at camp is probably the best part of camp because they make camp more fun! Spending time with people you enjoy being around will make for memories that last for a lifetime. Camp also helps children develop social skills, teamwork and leadership. Free from the social expectations pressuring them at school, camp encourages kids to relax and make friends easily.
